This vital role involves cultivating an engaging worship environment that inspires spiritual growth, fosters community, and encourages authentic expressions of faith through music and leadership. The Worship Pastor will serve as a spiritual guide, mentor, and team leader, ensuring that worship services are impactful, biblically grounded, and aligned with the church's mission to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence lives through dynamic worship and leadership. The Worship Pastor serves the Senior Pastor in overseeing and coordinating the entire worship ministry at Worship City Church. This includes leading worship, managing the creative, technical, and content production teams, and guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship ministry. I.The Worship Pastor is responsible for: Leading and developing those serving in the Worship Ministry as full-time/part-time Staff as well as Dream Team leaders and volunteers. Overseeing all creative projects, technical/production elements, and digital content creation. Planning and coordinating special creative and technical elements for weekends, special events (VBS), conferences (I AM HER Night, Men's X-IV Night), holidays (Easter, Christmas Eve), and other services. Working collaboratively with the Senior Pastor and other ministry leaders to create excellent, Spirit-led worship experiences. II. Experience, Skill and Knowledge Required Minimum of 5 years of worship leading in a local church. Minimum of 3 years involvement with special projects and productions (preferred). Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar, and ability to lead worship effectively. Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Word, and ProPresenter.
Ability to learn and use:
Planning Center Online, Google Workspace, Prime Multitrack App, and CCLI SongSelect. Ability to handle multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in leading, training, and volunteer management. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Basic understanding of audio routing, audio engineering, and ability to learn Allen & Heath SQ 6 Digital Mixer and Logic Pro. Proficiency or ability to learn Final Cut Pro (video editing software), Lightroom, and stage design. Basic skills in film, lighting, photography, and use of mirrorless/cinema cameras a plus. Ability to create, coordinate, and lead worship experiences, special events, and production teams. High energy and enthusiasm for Worship City Church's vision. Ability to think and act independently with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Worship Leadership & Pastoral Care Serve as the primary Worship Pastor of the WCC campus. Lead and manage the Worship Staff and Dream Teamers. Pastor and build individual relationships with all Worship Team members. Oversee the scheduling of all worship teams and setlists for Sunday experiences, First Wednesday, and special events. Creative Oversight Develop and implement creative ideas and elements for all services, special events, conferences, and holidays. Plan and implement all Worship City Church special events in coordination with church leadership. Technical & Production Oversight General oversight of the Production Department, Production Staff, and Dream Teamers. Lead and empower the Production Team for in-house and broadcast audio/visual needs. Oversight of production leaders in charge of scheduling production teams for weekends, First Wednesday, and special events. Content Creation & Digital Media Assist in creation of videos, pictures, graphics, and audio content for social media, weekend services, and special events. Create and coordinate the weekly Weekend Update videos. Assist in producing content for services, events, and marketing in alignment with the church's vision. General Leadership & Administration Oversee the training, resourcing, and developing all Worship, Creative, Technical, and Content teams/volunteers. Schedule, plan, administrate, and coordinate volunteers for special projects and events. Manage backend aspects of worship projects (publishing, writers, marketing, etc.). Work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor and other directors to ensure excellence in every worship experience. IV. Attributes Positive attitude and heart of a servant. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Compensation $50,000 per year 40 hours per weekRelocation Required Benefits:
