Job Description
Cedarville Emmanuel Church is an evangelical, non-denominational, church with tremendous potential; united leadership, committed core families, a recent surge of young new families with children, excellent facilities, a solid financial base (no debt), and a parsonage. Our church history can be dated back to approximately 1850 as the first Evangelical Church in Stephenson County IL. Cedarville Emmanuel Church is seeking a Senior Pastor who will glorify God by providing Biblical leadership through focusing on God's Word and prayer, shepherding the Body of Christ, and equipping the saints to do the work of ministry (Acts 6, 1 Peter 5, Ephesians 4). A degree in Christian Ministry and/or 3 plus years of pastoral experience is preferred. Our church is located in the village of Cedarville in northern Illinois where we serve many surrounding communities. Our Church facilities include a sanctuary, gymnasium/fellowship hall, kitchen, nursery and classrooms. A parsonage is also available. Our average weekly attendance is approximately 65 people.
