Pay Range:
$21.10 per hour Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush's anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary:
Chaplain will support mission of the institution by providing timely, high quality spiritual care to patients, families, friends, and staff, providing in-service and student instruction; participating in research, maintaining collegial relationships with other faculty/staff, and contributing to the larger community. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
Previous Clinical Pastoral Education Training. Graduate of Accredited College/University.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited theological school.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide routine spiritual assessment, intervention and care for neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients, families/friends, and staff as needed or assigned according to all policies and standards set forth by department guidelines. 2. Participates in prescribed CPE curriculum. 3. Provides 24 hours on-call as needed. 4. Participate in patient-care rounds. 5. Lead patient/family support group(s) as appropriate and needed. 6. Provide in-service education. 7. Attend morning on-call report. 8. Maintain daily statistical records. 9. Maintain regular chart notes on all patients seen. 10. Participate in weekly departmental meeting. Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
