Join our outstanding team as our new Chaplain today! A few details about the role: Coordinate and conduct religious services and study groups in both independent living and the health center. Prepare weekly bulletin information for vespers service. Secure accompanists and vocalists for vespers and special services. Obtain and oversee resident volunteers to assist during and setting up for services. As directed, conduct spiritual assessments for residents of the health center and document and update accordingly in resident care plan. Visit and minister to the sick in the health center, hospitals, and independent living. Lead assigned religious/spiritual related programs including Lenten lectures, Bible studies, special services of: Christmas, Thanksgiving, annual Memorial Service, Hanukkah, communions, funeral/memorial services, weddings, and baptisms, etc. Conduct memorial services as desired by families. Provide spiritual counseling, guidance and nurturing to residents and families. Facilitate support groups as assigned. Provide counseling/grief support to residents and family members during times of loss. Orient new residents to religious programming. And here's what you need to apply: Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 2 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Units completed. Board certified chaplain preferred. Ordination preferred.
