Job Description We, the congregation of St. John's, seek a Rector who will be a leader and co-creator with us and with God's help, explore these areas: A spiritually grounded and theologically sound preacher who proclaims the Gospel with clarity, depth, and authenticity. A builder of meaningful relationships who nurtures a community where all feel known, welcomed, and connected. A champion of outreach and social justice who calls us to engage with our community and the wider world, expanding ministries that serve those on the margins. A guide for spiritual growth and formation who fosters lifelong learning, deepens spiritual vitality, and supports diverse pathways for individuals to grow. An energetic and visionary leader who inspires and mobilizes the congregation, helping us grow beyond comfort into new expressions of faith, service, and community. A cultivator of gifts and leadership who recognizes, encourages, and develops the unique abilities of others. A collaborator who leads by example, working in partnership with clergy, staff, and the Vestry to foster shared ownership of ministry and a unified sense of purpose.
