The Chaplain serves as an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible for providing spiritual, religious, and personal counseling/guidance and services. Will help residents, resident's families, and staff to more fully understand life's journey as related to the spiritual and emotional wholeness. Advances the value that the resident comes first. The employee values the Community as the residents' home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or
TRAINING
Bachelors in church, ministry-related or pastoral care preferred Clinical pastoral education (CPE) equivalent to a minimum of one unit in an accredited program preferred. Seminary degree preferred Lay person with training from an endorsed faith group in good standing Experience working with older adults desired PMMA offers a generous employment benefits package that includes health care and insurance benefits, paid time off, scholarships and more for employees that work a minimum of 30 hours a week.
