Average of 60-100 per service About the Church New Anthem Community Church is a welcoming and family-oriented church located in the heart of Park City, Kansas (just minutes north of Wichita). Founded as part of the Synergy Kansas church planting movement, New Anthem exists to " BRING people into a saving relationship with Jesus, BUILD them up in that faith, EQUIP them for ministry, and SEND them out into the world to make a difference in order to BRING glory to God." The church emphasizes: Biblical teaching and practical application Community outreach and servant leadership Discipleship and spiritual growth Team ministry and volunteer development Authentic worship and relational ministry Position Summary New Anthem is seeking a passionate, relational, and mission-minded Lead Pastor to guide our church into its next season of ministry. We are a growing, community-focused church committed to helping people connect to God's purpose through authentic relationships, practical biblical teaching, and servant leadership. The Lead Pastor will provide spiritual, visionary, and organizational leadership for the church while shepherding the congregation with humility, authenticity, and biblical integrity. The ideal candidate will be a gifted communicator, relational leader, and disciple-maker who aligns with what we believe and the purpose of New Anthem Community Church. The Lead Pastor will be accountable to the church Elder Board and to the local Overseers (partner church leaders). They will work alongside with Synergy Kansas, which exists to continue planting churches regionally and beyond. Primary Responsibilities Maintain a personal lifestyle of following Christ beyond Sunday service Preach and teach God's Word in a clear, engaging, and biblically faithful manner Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation Cast vision and lead the church in accomplishing its mission Develop leaders and empower volunteers for ministry Collaborate with church staff, ministry leaders, and elders Foster discipleship, outreach, and community engagement Oversee ministry strategy, growth, and church health Support family, youth, and children's ministries Qualifications Bachelor's degree in ministry, theology, or related field preferred; seminary training welcomed (will consider equivalent experience) Four or more years of pastoral leadership and preaching experience preferred Agreement with the theological beliefs and values of New Anthem Community Church Able and willing to be credentialed by the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop leaders Heart for discipleship, outreach, and community engagement Humble, servant-hearted leadership style What We're Looking For We are praying for a pastor who: Has a high level of integrity toward following Jesus Loves people deeply and leads relationally Communicates Scripture in relevant and compelling ways Values teamwork and empowers others Embraces outreach and community involvement Can shepherd a multigenerational congregation with wisdom and grace Is excited to help lead a church focused on growth, discipleship, and mission To Apply Interested candidates should submit the following:
