Associate Minister

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Minister to join our vibrant faith community. This vital role involves inspiring spiritual growth, providing compassionate support, and fostering a welcoming environment for all members. The Associate Minister will collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver impactful lessons and experiences for the middle and high school youth, lead congregation worship weekly, and offer discipleship classes and opportunities both small group and the congregation as a whole. Duties Teach 6 th -12 th grades on Sunday evenings Lead a team of volunteers in lesson planning, event planning, and promoting/communicating the schedule of services and regular events. Outreach to students and pastoral visitation such as periodic lunch at schools, attending games, or hospital visitation. Lead MS and HS trips to CIY Mix and Move in the summer months. Work alongside the Children's Minister on our VBS program. Plan in conjunction with the lead minister and lead weekly worship on Sunday mornings Lead blended worship from guitar or keyboard Work in conjunction with volunteers to maintain our church website and social media accounts. Able to preach when called upon. Assist in various tasks and duties around the church as needed. Weddings and Funerals as requested. Skills Committed follower of Christ. Musical ability preferred or willing to learn an instrument. Outgoing and Self-Motivated Ability to recruit, manage, encourage, and lead volunteer teams. Able to be a positive and compatible member of our ministry staff. Desire for spiritual growth and learning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Highly organized and familiar with leading and implementing systems. Ordained in a Christian Church/Church of Christ or willing to go through the ordination process. Ministry and/or Management Experience Preferred Bachelors Degree Preferred Can sing and play either keyboard or guitar. Will become a member of CCC if not already. Can pass a background check. Pay:

$35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
