POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides spiritual guidance and support to in-house patients. Provides pastoral ministry; performs or arranges for religious services to meet the needs of patients and their families. Provides assistance to contracted staff and visiting clergy.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and groups Conduct religious services, ceremonies, and rites according to faith traditions Offer emotional support and guidance in times of crisis or grief Facilitate religious education programs and study groups Develop and implement spiritual care plans tailored to individual needs Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care Visit patients, inmates, or service members in their respective settings Maintain confidential records of spiritual care interactions Advise on ethical and moral issues within the institution Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions Provide support to families during illness, trauma, or loss Ensure all religious practices and services comply with organizational policies and procedures
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, or a related field
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
•Requires knowledge of counseling and clinical pastoral care, including training in human development and behavior, spirituality and religious practices common to the community, generally acquired through the completion of a Master's degree in Divinity or Theology.

Endorsement by a recognized religious body or authority preferred. Requires advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, agencies, patients and members of the clergy.

Bilingual ability is a big plus.
Compensation Range:
$29.73- $39.23 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
