We are seeking a relational pastor who is excited to help build a culture of discipleship where students and families are known, connected, and growing in Christ for years to come. Carlisle Congregational Church is a gospel-centered, Bible-teaching church located in Carlisle, Massachusetts, a small town just outside Boston. We are committed to preaching God's Word, building meaningful relationships, and making disciples across generations. Job Description What We're Looking For A qualified male candidate who meets the biblical qualifications for elders/pastors(1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9) and models the shepherding posture of 1 Peter 5:1-4 Committed to Scripture and gospel-centered ministry Relational and approachable Passionate about discipling the next generation Able to take initiative while working in close partnership with leadership Able to provide pastoral and personal references who can speak to character Formal theological training is preferred, including a completed or in-progress graduate degree in ministry or theology. Responsibilities This pastor will lead and invest in: Students (middle & high school) through a consistent, relational youth group Families, helping them take meaningful next steps into the life of the church Community Groups, strengthening them as a primary pathway for discipleship and connection Preach occasionally Position Details Part-Time (20-30 hours/week)
Compensation:
$51,000-$74,000 annually, depending on qualifications and agreed-upon hours.
Pay:
$51,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
