The Middle School Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6-8. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position. Essential Functions Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church. Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards. Creates and instructional environment conducive to learning. Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development in a timely manner. Communicated standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book. Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom. Position Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, required. MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required. Classroom teaching experience, preferred. Proficient in using a variety of technology.
