This individual will work alongside the Pastor, Worship Team, and church leadership to create a worship environment that glorifies God, proclaims Christ, and encourages active congregational participation. The ideal candidate is a mature Christian leader with musical ability, strong organizational skills, and a heart for serving God's people through worship. Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead music for the 10:30 AM contemporary worship service.
  • Select worship songs in collaboration with the Pastor and worship planning team.
  • Recruit, train, and encourage vocalists and instrumentalists.
  • Schedule and lead weekly rehearsals.
  • Coordinate worship service flow with the Pastor and worship team.
  • Develop worship sets that align with the church calendar, sermon themes, and Lutheran theology.
  • Assist with special services, including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, and other church events.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth among team members .
  • Work with sound and livestream volunteers to ensure quality worship experiences both in-person and online. Qualifications
  • A personal faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with Christian values.
  • Agreement with the mission and ministry of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church.
  • Experience leading worship in a church setting.
  • Ability to sing and lead confidently from an instrument (guitar, keyboard, or similar).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to organize volunteers and coordinate schedules.
  • Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship music.
  • Knowledge of Lutheran worship practices is preferred but not required.

CompensationCompensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and availability.
