Job Description
GENERAL OVERVIEW
: The Connections Director/Pastor will be a highly motivated leader who enjoys connecting with people and helping them take their next steps at Heritage-moving people from first-time guest to full participation in the church. He/she will help people connect in three primary ways: to each other (in small groups), to ministry (through serving), and to the church (through membership).

They have a heart for hospitality and an attentiveness for improving details of the guest experience for everyone, from first-time guests to long-time members.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Guest Follow-Up Membership Baptisms Take leadership and ownership of connections ministries, growing and nurturing this ministry as a part of their leadership (Welcome Center, Greeters, Ushers, Parking Team, Coffee Shop) Build strong relationships and trust with the members, guests, and community of Heritage Church Lead a team of volunteer ministry leaders to ensure successful gatherings and an intentional strategy for connecting people to serving at Heritage
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Fantastic written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to excel at details Excellent people management and team coaching skills A passion for team, staff culture, and loyalty A willingness and openness to be pastored and coached Agree with the doctrine and teachings of the Assemblies of God Credentialing with the Assemblies of God is a plus, but not required at the start of the position
