Worship Director/Pastor

Christ Community Church in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a genuine, humble, passionate leader for the worship ministries of our church. We are a church of generous people who honor Jesus, love each other, and serve our neighbors. We have 3 weekend services, minister to about 1,100 people per weekend, and serve the greater Rochester area, which has a population of about 150,000 people and is consistently recognized as one of the best places to live in the United States. The Director of Worship & Arts (DWA) will help people meet and follow Jesus utilizing music, media, and other artistic expression. They will lead all things worship and production at CCC, and will recruit and develop other leaders to share the stage and the ministry. The ideal candidate will be very proficient vocally and on at least one instrument and will have demonstrated skills in team-building, conducting rehearsals and collaborative worship service planning. They will need at least a working knowledge of AV tech for trouble-shooting and problem-solving purposes and to have experience with ProPresenter, Ableton, Lightkey, and ProLogic. To be successful in this role, our next DWA will have a deep and growing faith in Jesus; a passion for the local church; a deep desire for people who do not know Jesus being introduced to Him; a strong vocal ability; ability to lead worship from an instrument and direct other vocalists and musicians; high emotional intelligence; and, a good sense of humor. We believe that an undergraduate degree in worship ministries or other creative field will be helpful, as will 3-5 years of leadership experience in a larger church.
