This role is responsible for ensuring that Church Houses scale with theological clarity, cultural consistency, leader health, and operational excellence. Personal Responsibilities Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in God's Word and engaging in the personal study of God's Word. Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4). Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20). Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9). Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-7 & 9:12). Maintain membership and active involvement at Abundant Life. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Serve as the primary staff leader responsible for the health, alignment, and scalability of the Church House movement. Provide oversight, coaching, and accountability for key Church House leadership functions related to alignment, systems, and execution. Lead regular leadership alignment rhythms to ensure shared expectations, priorities, and clarity across the movement. Act as the first point of escalation for operational, cultural, or leadership challenges within Church Houses. Protect and reinforce the theology, values, and DNA of Church Houses as the movement grows. Ensure consistent language, practices, and expectations across regions while allowing for contextual expression. Translate vision and strategic direction into clear, executable plans. Oversee systems, workflows, and infrastructure that support sustainable Church House growth. Remove operational friction and bottlenecks that slow momentum or create confusion. Monitor leader health across the movement and ensure care rhythms are functioning effectively. Intervene early when burnout, isolation, or overload is identified. Provide pastoral coaching and support to key leaders and staff as needed. Partner with the Multiplication Pastor in strategic planning for future Church House growth and multiplication. Track and report key indicators related to alignment, leader health, and execution readiness. Perform other duties as reasonably assigned. Skills & Qualifications Success in this role requires a rare blend of pastoral wisdom and operational leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strength in the following areas: Strong interpersonal, communication, and relational leadership skills Ability to lead leaders with clarity, calm, and credibility Demonstrated ability to translate vision into executable systems Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills Capacity to hold both people and processes with wisdom and grace High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution ability Comfort operating behind the scenes without needing the spotlight Strong alignment with Abundant Life's mission, values, and culture Experience Bachelor's degree in ministry, leadership, organizational leadership, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Five to seven years of experience leading leaders in a ministry, church planting, or organizational context. Demonstrated experience navigating growth, complexity, and leadership development. Specific Role Requirements Travel to church house locations (both locally and nationally) two weekends per month or as-needed. Hours/workday's will vary depending on travel and the needs of the role.
