Job Description The Church of the Holy Trinity seeks a faithful, collaborative, and visionary Rector to lead our parish in worship, spiritual growth, and community engagement. The Rector serves as the chief pastor, liturgical leader, and teacher, guiding the congregation in living out the Gospel in our parish and the wider community. Parish Profile here.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inspiring liturgical and sacramental leadership rooted in the traditions of the Episcopal Church. Offer compassionate pastoral care to parishioners in times of need, celebration, and transition. Lead and support spiritual formation and Christian education for all ages, nurturing growth across generations. Collaborate closely with lay leadership, including the vestry and ministry leaders, to strengthen parish life and shared ministry. Communicate/coordinate worship space improvements in partnership with the vestry and sexton. Promote faithful stewardship of Holy Trinity's finances and resources in collaboration with the finance team. Serve as a visible and engaged presence in Warren County, fostering community outreach and congregational growth. Represent Holy Trinity within the broader community, building relationships with local organizations and leaders and continue to maintain/cultivate ecumenical partnerships with other faith communities.
