Vizion Church, Charlotte, NC Position Summary The Worship Director will serve as the primary leader of worship culture across all campuses of Vizion Church. This role goes beyond leading songs — it is about building people, shaping culture, and creating environments where the presence of God is undeniable. This leader will oversee all aspects of worship, including bands, vocalists, choir, and Vizion Worship (original music/recording team). They will play a key role in developing future leaders, expanding teams, and helping carry the vision of Vizion Church into new campuses and events. Key Responsibilities Multi-Campus Worship Leadership Lead and oversee worship across all Vizion Church campuses Ensure consistency in culture, excellence, and spiritual depth across locations Develop and empower campus worship leaders and teams Build scalable systems to support ongoing church growth and expansion Sunday & Gathering Environments Lead worship regularly and oversee all weekend services Shape powerful, engaging, and Spirit-led worship environments Collaborate closely with teaching pastors to align worship with the message Lead and plan worship for major gatherings, including Crusades, special events, and church-wide moments Choir Leadership & Development Oversee and grow the Vizion Choir as a key expression of worship Develop choir leaders, structure, and rehearsal systems Create impactful choir moments within services and special gatherings Actively recruit and train new choir members while strengthening existing team culture Vizion Worship (Original Music) Lead and develop Vizion Worship, the church's recording and songwriting team Champion the writing, recording, and release of original music Identify and develop songwriters, vocalists, and musicians Help establish a distinct sound and voice that reflects Vizion Church Collaborate on future recordings, live albums, and worship projects Team Building & Development Recruit, train, and disciple musicians, vocalists, and choir members Build a strong leadership pipeline for future worship leaders Create clear onboarding and development pathways for new team members Invest in both the musical and spiritual growth of every team member Culture & Spiritual Leadership Cultivate a culture of passionate, authentic, and biblical worship Lead with a pastor's heart—prioritizing people over platform Model spiritual maturity, humility, and a pursuit of God's presence Build a healthy, unified, and life-giving team environment Creative & Production Collaboration Partner with production and creative teams to execute services with excellence Contribute to the overall creative direction of services and events Help design moments that are both impactful and intentional Qualifications Spiritual & Character A committed and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Strong alignment with the vision and culture of Vizion Church A heart for people, discipleship, and the local church Demonstrates humility, teachability, and a servant's heart Emotionally healthy and able to lead within accountability Leadership & Experience Proven experience leading worship in a growing and dynamic church Experience in multi-campus ministry strongly preferred Strong vocal and musical leadership ability Experience leading choirs and/or large vocal teams Background in songwriting or original music development is highly valued Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Organizational strength with an ability to build systems Effective communicator and collaborator Familiarity with tools like Planning Center Services What Success Looks Like A thriving, growing worship ministry across all campuses A strong and expanding choir with clear leadership and structure New musicians, vocalists, and leaders consistently being developed Vizion Worship actively writing, recording, and releasing original music Powerful, consistent worship environments across Sundays and major gatherings A healthy, unified culture marked by spiritual depth and excellence Key Characteristics Vision Carrier

Work Schedule & Compensation Participate in all-staff meetings, trainings, and church initiatives Be fully engaged in the life of Vizion Church Available for weekends, rehearsals, events, and key ministry moments Attend monthly check-ins with your direct report. Assist Pastoral Staff with special projects upon request. Salary TBD plus full benefits.
