Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, spiritually grounded, and child-centered educator to serve in a part-time ministry role supporting the spiritual formation of children within our church community in Durham, NC. This position draws from Montessori principles, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), and Godly Play to create a peaceful, wonder-filled environment where children can encounter God through story, prayer, contemplation, and hands-on engagement. The educator will guide children in a nurturing sacred space that honors each child's spiritual dignity, curiosity, and relationship with God. St. Joseph's believes that children are deeply valued members of the body of Christ and capable of meaningful relationship with God. Through sacred stories, hands-on learning, prayer, and community, we seek to nurture children's faith with wonder, joy, and reverence. This is a part-time position at ten hours per week, paying $26-30 per hour. Job is on-site Sunday mornings, but the rest of the week location is flexible!
