Pittsboro Campus Teaching Pastor

Chatham Community Church is an evangelical, contemporary, non-denominational multi-site church that's committed to live preaching at each location. In January of 2026 we rolled our Pittsboro location together with our North Chatham location temporarily while we renovate a new location for the Pittsboro location. We're looking to re-launch later this year and the current Pittsboro campus teaching pastor is looking to move to an XP position. When we re-launch the Pittsboro location, it will be in a newly renovated storefront space with about 200 people five minutes away from one of the top 5 largest single housing developments in American history: Chatham Park. Chatham Park construction is just beginning to pick up steam and we need a campus pastor who has a track record of building something (a church, a church plant, a campus, a youth group, a campus ministry) and sees the opportunity that this is. Following Jesus yourself Scripture and prayer with healthy personal spiritual disciplines Gathering people Preaching (roughly 75-80% of the time) that is both evangelistic and calls the believer to deeper discipleship in Christ Relational ministry, with a knack for organization and logistics and enjoyment of the occasional big outreach event Building volunteer teams Working with a great staff team, including collaborating to plan out sermon series and prepare passages Theologically, we're a big-tent evangelical church with an all-male elder team but with range of positions on secondary issues including women's roles. We allow women to preach on Sunday mornings and are open to a female campus pastor. We hold to historically orthodox biblical sexual ethics.
