Job Description:

The First Baptist Church of Ledgewood is in a thriving community in the suburbs of New Jersey. We strongly emphasize the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and prioritize spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach within our close-knit congregation. Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time pastor to lead our congregation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities in accordance with biblical standards outlined in 1 Timothy 3:2-7, Titus 1:6-9, Exodus 18:19-23, and Acts 20:28. As per our understanding of scripture, the pastor should be male (1 Timothy 2:12 and 3:2-7). A clear calling to pastoral ministry, a deep knowledge and understanding of the Bible, and prior experience in ministry leadership are essential. A Bachelor of Theology/Divinity is required, Master of Theology/Divinity (preferred).

Responsibilities:

Preaching and teaching the Word of God with clarity and relevance Providing pastoral care and counseling to congregation members Leading or facilitating Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other activities that encourage spiritual growth Overseeing the administration and operations of the church in collaboration with the leadership team Engaging in community outreach and evangelism efforts to fulfill the

Great Commission Salary and Benefits:

Total compensation package value: $130,000, inclusive of Salary Parsonage Utilities Benefits package
