Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. $65,688.82 - $83,221.82/annuallyQualifications:
One (1) year experience in pastoral/spiritual counseling with issues relating to illness, death, grief and bereavement. Minimum two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral education, credentialed Chaplain or Board Certified Chaplain preferred. Recognition as a Pastoral or Spiritual Counselor. At least one year of hospice experience preferred. Ability to minister to patient/family from diverse cultures and beliefs in their own homes and work as members of an interdisciplinary team. A valid driver's license is required. (This requirement does not apply to positions assigned exclusively to Manhattan territory) A vehicle is required to commute to patients.
