Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Is a full member of the healthcare team who provides for the pastoral needs of patients, families/friends, to understand more fully life's events as they relate to their spiritual and emotional well-being. As a full member of the health care team, the Chaplain would: Regularly visit patients while giving priority to those of greatest need. Provide for the pastoral needs of patients, families/friends (and sometimes members of the health care team. Model compassion, flexibility and the ability to deal with crisis and show sensitivity to illness, loss, suffering, death. Work day shift hours with shared responsibility for flex, on call, weekend and holiday rotations.
