Pastor Cyril, OK 73029 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and inspiring Pastor to lead our faith community. The ideal candidate will provide spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to congregants of all ages. This role involves delivering sermons, fostering community engagement, and offering pastoral care during life's significant moments. The Pastor will serve as a spiritual mentor and counselor, promoting the growth of faith and fellowship within the church. Duties Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse audiences. Provide bereavement support and hospice care guidance to families experiencing loss. Offer Christian counseling, mentoring, and crisis intervention to individuals facing personal challenges. Lead prayer sessions, Bible studies, and religious education classes. Organize and oversee church events, outreach programs, and community service initiatives. Assist in event planning, including funerals, weddings, baptisms, and special ceremonies. Manage conflict resolution and crisis management within the congregation with sensitivity and professionalism. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages spiritual growth and community involvement. Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of church activities. Maintain accurate records of pastoral visits, counseling sessions, and church events. Qualifications Proven experience in pastoral leadership or ministry roles. Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to inspire diverse audiences. Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal. Demonstrated ability in teaching, mentoring, and conflict management. Knowledge of bereavement support, hospice care principles, and Christian counseling techniques. Skills in event planning, crisis intervention, and crisis management. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to serve others through spiritual guidance. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy. Leadership qualities that promote teamwork within the church community.
