Job Description

Haven Home Health and Hospice is seeking a compassionate and spiritually grounded Full-Time Hospice Chaplain to join our interdisciplinary hospice team. This role provides spiritual care and emotional support to hospice patients, families, caregivers, and staff while honoring each individual's beliefs, values, and traditions. Our Chaplains play a meaningful role in helping patients and families navigate the end-of-life journey with dignity, comfort, and peace.

Local travel required to patient homes and facilities Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including: Medical, Dental, Vision and Supplemental Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Pay Mileage Reimbursement Supportive Team Environment Ongoing Training and Professional Development Opportunities Responsibilities Provide spiritual care, guidance, and emotional support to hospice patients and families Assess spiritual needs and contribute to individualized care plans Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clergy/community faith leaders Support hospice staff and volunteers as a spiritual resource Conduct or coordinate religious rites and services as requested Maintain timely and accurate documentation Assist with education related to spiritual care and hospice philosophy Qualifications Formal training in spiritual care through an accredited seminary, school of theology, or recognized religious organization Ordained or credentialed within a recognized religious organization Previous hospice or counseling experience preferred Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills Comfortable working within diverse faith backgrounds and belief systems Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required Why Join Haven?
