Job Description We are seeking a devoted and visionary Rector who is: Spiritually grounded. Collaborative. A team-oriented leader who values a shared ministry, works well with staff and lay leaders and encourages the gifts of all members, fostering unity and promoting understanding. Able to preach with clarity, making the gospel relevant in people's lives while being thought-provoking and challenging. Emotionally intelligent. A compassionate and self-aware individual who listens well, communicates clearly and responds to challenges with wisdom and empathy Responsibilities Manage worship and celebrate liturgy according to the Book of Common Prayer. Oversee the work of all other participants in worship, including Associate Priests, Verger, lay Eucharistic ministers, readers, musicians, and all others. Help the parish grow, serve, and build relationships with the wider community. Work closely with our Music Director/Artist in Residence to grow our music programs. Responsible for strategic leadership of the parish. Guide and encourage the Vestry and congregation to align parish life and administration with adherence to Episcopal Church practices. Oversee Christian Education and faith formation in the parish. Provide pastoral care for parishioners. Support and inspire year-round stewardship.
