In this dynamic role, you will design / Coordinate/Lead Sunday am Kids Ministry, foster a safe and welcoming environment, and inspire children to explore their faith through creative teaching of Children's Ministry materials. Your energetic leadership will help shape the next generation of believers, making a lasting impact on their lives and families. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with the church's mission and values, ensuring engaging and meaningful spiritual experiences for children. Lead Sunday AM children's program, including Sunday school, holiday events, and special activities that promote learning, fellowship, and fun. Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer teachers and helpers to support children's ministry initiatives with enthusiasm and professionalism. Foster a safe environment by maintaining safety protocols, supervising activities, and addressing any behavioral or safety concerns promptly. Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate program details, provide spiritual guidance, and encourage family involvement in faith development. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or faith-based settings; teaching or youth leadership background preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate volunteers and foster teamwork within a diverse team. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with children, parents, volunteers, and church staff. Knowledge of Christian teachings & counseling techniques related to faith development. Ability to plan engaging events and activities that promote spiritual growth while ensuring safety standards are met.
