• Full-time Position Summary Water's Edge Community Church is seeking a passionate, biblically grounded follower of Jesus Christ to serve as Pastor of Youth & Worship.

This dual role provides leadership for both worship ministry and youth discipleship. The individual will lead the congregation in Christ-centered worship while shepherding middle school and high school students toward a growing and lifelong faith in Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate has a heart for discipleship, a strong understanding of Scripture, and the ability to lead worship vocally and instrumentally while developing volunteers, worship teams, and youth leaders. Key Responsibilities Worship Ministry

• Lead weekly congregational worship and plan services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
• Select biblically sound songs that support the message and church vision.
• Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members and volunteers.
• Lead weekly rehearsals and oversee worship scheduling and preparation.
• Coordinate with sound and media volunteers to ensure smooth services.
• Cultivate a worship culture that helps people encounter the presence of God. Youth Ministry
• Teach engaging, biblically faithful lessons for youth gatherings and small groups.
• Lead weekly youth meetings, discipleship opportunities, and outreach events.
• Build meaningful relationships with students and encourage spiritual growth.
• Recruit and equip adult volunteers to serve in youth ministry.
• Partner with parents to support the spiritual development of their students.
• Organize youth retreats, camps, mission trips, and service projects. General Ministry
• Participate in the life and leadership of the church.
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate with church leadership.
• Assist with pastoral care and ministry support when needed. Spiritual Expectations The Pastor of Youth & Worship must demonstrate:
• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Biblical character, humility, and servant leadership.
• Passion for discipling students and leading others in worship.
• A lifestyle consistent with biblical moral standards. Statement of Faith Because this role serves in spiritual leadership, the candidate must be in full agreement with the Statement of Faith and doctrinal beliefs of Water's Edge Community Church, affirming the authority of Scripture and faithfully upholding the biblical convictions and ministry philosophy of the church. Qualifications
• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Experience in youth ministry and/or worship ministry preferred.
• Ability to lead worship vocally (guitar or piano preferred).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
• Teachable and coachable spirit with willingness to adapt as ministry needs evolve.
• Passion for equipping others to use their God-given gifts in ministry.
• Bachelor's degree in ministry, biblical studies, worship arts, or related field preferred Background check and compliance with child safety policies required. Schedule
