SUMMARY:
Contract On-Call Chaplain will work Week nights, weekends, weekend nights. It is on call basis, paid base pay and per call, have call room if needed. PRN/on call Chaplain responds to pages via beeper for emergencies, deaths, crises and staff support as needed to the AnMed Heath.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support and compassionate care to patients, families, caregivers, visitors, and staff. Knowledge and skills in crisis, grief, and trauma support. When called in, round in the hospital to offer support and build relationships with staff. Work with a diverse population without personal or religious agenda honoring all people as they are. Support the Code Lavender Program as part of the Spiritual Care Department. Attend staff meetings at AnMed Health Anderson campus approximately 4 times a year.
Required Qualifications include:
Bachelor s degree Master of Divinity from an accredited institution Ordination through church/denomination At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education Preferred Qualifications include: 4 Units of CPE Counseling Degree/Experience Benefits
