The Minister of Worship/Worship Pastor is responsible for leading the worship ministry of Smyrna Baptist Church. This role involves working collaboratively with the pastor to plan worship services that are God-Centered and Christ-Exalting. This is a part-time position focused on using God-given gifts and talents to engage the congregation in meaningful worship.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead congregational singing in Sunday Morning worship services.Collaborate with the Pastor to plan and evaluate worship services.
Oversee the purchase of any music materials within the church's budget.
Communicate and coordinate weekly with musicians, volunteers, and staff to ensure the smooth operation of worship services.
Serve as an active member of Smyrna Baptist Church, contributing to the overall vision and mission of the church.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.Must be willing to join as a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
Must believe and affirm the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.Must be a gifted worship leader.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
Must have a heart for service, teamwork, and worship.
Instrumental ability is a "plus.
