PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
Develop and coordinate, with the Committee of Outreach and Engagement, the outreach and engagement ministries of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcoming:
Develop and maintain (in conjunction with the Outreach and Engagement Committee) a welcoming and visitor follow up ministry: 40% o Develop and oversee greeter ministry o Coordinate with other ministries to facilitate welcoming guests: welcome table, literature, wayfinding, etc. o Develop and oversee hospitality ministries (coffee, donuts, etc.) o Cultivate Accessibility to the church for those with special needs o Plan, host, and coordinate new member class with Pastoral Staff o Oversee membership process for adults and families
Connecting:
Develop and maintain (in conjunction with the Outreach and Engagement Committee) a connecting ministry: 20% o Develop and maintain a two-year new member welcome and engagement plan, including an introductory discipleship growth plan (working in conjunction with the Adult Formation Committee) o Coordinate annual "bridge" events such as (Church picnic, two to three church-wide luncheons, Christmas party, and other Church-wide social events
Serving:
Develop and maintain (in conjunction with the Outreach and Engagement Committee) a broad-based serving program that helps members discover, develop and deploy their gifts: 40% o Develop and maintain "Every member a Minister" gift deployment tool o Lead church-wide volunteering efforts once per year or more frequently
QUALIFICATIONS 1.
An evangelical Christian with a desire to serve the Lord in the workplace. 2. Bible college or extensive work experience an evangelistic, comparable Church program. 3. Ability to mobilize and lead volunteers and program participants to accomplish the ministry goals. 4. Management ability to plan, organize, and execute a complex program and staff within an annual budget. 5. Able to sign the Statement of Faith and to be loyal to the Westminster Confession of Faith.

$45,689.39 - $59,840.98 per year
