? BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo?s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, our mission is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity. Responsibilities The Chaplain is responsible for providing spiritual and supportive care to the patients, families, and employees of Baptist St. Anthony?s Health System.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Holds ordination or endorsement by a denomination or religious organization. Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited institution. Completed 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education, or related professional certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
3 years of work providing spiritual care in a health care facility, or 5 years of work providing spiritual care in a church or institutional setting. Master's Degree in theology, religious education, or related field from an accredited Seminary or Graduate School. Completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education, or related professional certification. Effective knowledge of the spiritual and emotional needs of persons and the ability to make appropriate interventions. Functions effectively under stress and in a dynamic environment.
