Lead Pastor Supervisory Role:
Yes Objective:
The Associate Pastor is responsible for the execution, administration of Authentic City Church and the teams that support the various departments. This role includes the responsibility of investing and developing volunteer leaders and teams, who ensure ministries and structures are in line with the Authentic standards in an effort to make people connected and pastored. Essential Job Functions Teach biblical and relevant messages that engage volunteer teams with the truth of God's Word. Recruit, equip, empower, and encourage volunteer leaders to become the driving force of the ministry. Including, developing leaders, promoting involvement, and providing pastoral care for the body. As well as, implement the infrastructure of all standard operating systems, cultural expectations, volunteer leadership, and financial viability for the areas you oversee. Build strong partnerships with our community, providing tools to support and disciple their families at home. Create opportunities for our body to encounter Christ, grow in community, and serve on mission. Help plan and execute camps, conferences, and other major ministry events. Collaborate with teams to ensure Authentic supports the larger mission of the church. Manage ministry communication, logistics, and budget with excellence and accountability. Additional Job Requirements Model a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical leadership. Demonstrate humility, integrity, and a servant-hearted approach to ministry. Fully engage in the ministry of the church. This includes attending a weekend service, tithing, and leadership development efforts. Uphold all church safety policies, child protection standards, and background screening requirements.
Work Schedule Full-Time:
40 hrs Weekend service schedule: Sunday mornings 9am and 11am
Monday-Friday:
Hours flexible
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Passionate about discipling and developing leaders. Strong communication and teaching skills with both students and adults. Proven ability to lead and motivate. Relational and approachable, with the ability to connect across diverse backgrounds. Skilled in event planning, organization, and communication Oversee, care for, and grow the following teams: Sunday Guest Experience Teams Campus Support Teams including First Time Guest, Operations, Environments, Next Steps, Admin, Resources, and church-wide initiatives. Education Requirement High School Degree (required) Bachelor's degree related to the field (preferred) 2-5 years of experience in ministry leadership (preferred) We're grateful for your interest in working at Authentic!
