Position Description The Groups Pastor sets the vision for Austin Ridge s Life Groups Ministry and our Disciple making Groups Ministry. He recruits and trains leaders, coordinates small group environments, and oversees various discipleship/equipping classes and events. Primary Duties and Responsibilities for the

D-group Ministry:

Champion the need for D-group participation among staff and leadership Expand D-group ministry through recruiting and equipping new leaders Maintain good relationships with leaders and provide continual motivation, feedback, and training Create content for D-groups and communicate with leaders on how to incorporate it into their groups Actively encourage staff and church members to lead and/or be equipped in a D-group environment Regularly communicate to the church body D-group opportunities and how they can be discipled to make disciples Create budgets and ministry strategies Participate in other ministry duties as determined by the Lead & Executive Pastors Primary Duties and Responsibilities for the

Expand the Equipping ministry through new ways to reach people with biblical education Recruit, train and empower volunteer teachers for the varying platforms for equipping Maintain good relationships teachers and event volunteers to provide continual motivation, feedback, and training Create content for podcasts, core classes, and the Institute Actively encourage church members to grow in equipping environments Regularly communicate to the church body upcoming equipping opportunities and how they can grow in an equipping environment Assist in the overall spiritual development of Austin Ridge Assist in creating budgets and ministry strategies Participate in other ministry duties as determined by the
