Doxology Church Alliance Worship Pastor Job Description Reports to:

Ministry Operations Pastor Position Focus:

To develop Christ-centered people who make a difference by helping them connect with Christ, transform in community, and engage their world. This staff position does this primarily by leading the worship ministry of Doxology Bible Church and supporting the communication and production systems that help the church gather effectively and reach people in the community. Because Doxology Bible Church is a growing church that meets in a portable environment, this role requires a flexible, team-oriented leader who is willing to serve wherever needed and help lead various ministry initiatives, events, and outreach opportunities. This leader will also be fully engaged in the disciple-making culture of the church by participating in community groups and disciple-making groups.

Worship Team:

A primary responsibility of this role is to recruit, develop, and lead a volunteer worship team. Identify and recruit musicians and vocalists within the church Develop systems of onboarding and training new volunteers Schedule and coordinate worship team volunteers for Sunday services. Lead rehearsals that prepare the team well and cultivate a healthy team culture. Encourage the spiritual growth of those serving on the worship team. Identify and develop future leaders within worship ministry.

Lead Congregational Worship:

Plan and lead weekly worshiup services that help the congregation respond to God through singing, prayer and Scripture. Select songs that are biblically faithful and accessible for congregational worship. Coordinate closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure the service supports the message and direction of the gathering. Prepare worship teams for Sunday gatherings through rehearsals and communication

Oversee Production and Sunday Service Systems:

Oversee audio, vidual, and production elements of Sunday services Recruit, train and coordinate volunteers serving in sound, slides, and livestream roles. Ensure all techinal elements are prepared and functioning for Sunday gatherings. Oversee setup and teardown of audio and visual systems in the portable church environment.

Lead Church Communications:

Oversee the church s digital presence including the website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. Coordinate the c reatio of slides, graphics, and digital media used in church gatherings and outreach. Help coordinate church events, sermons, and ministry opportunities clearly to the congregation and community.

Support Church Events and Outreach:

Help plan and execute church-wide events and outreach initiatives. Assist with logistics, production, and communication needs for church events. Mobilie volunteers to serve during outreach events and special gatherings. Collaborate as a part of a

Multi-Congregational Movement:

Work in collaboration with the other worship pastors and worship leaders at Doxology Bible Church to support a multi-congregational movement. Goal and Expectations Build a consistent worship team made up of volunteer musicians and vocalists. Recruit and develop volunteers for both worship and production teams. Establish systems for scheduling, communication, and rehearsals. Strengthen the quality and engagement of congregational worship. Improve church communication through digital platofrms. Be actively engaged in neighborhood ministry, community group and disciple-making group.

Education and Experience:

College degree preferred. At least some theological training is ideal. Significant experience (5 years +) in Church Ministry, ideally including the leadership of other staff or high-level volunteers.

Other Considerations:

Affirmation of Doxology Bible Church s Statement of Faith is required, along with a commitment to conduct this role in alignment with the Statement of Faith, Vision, and Teaching of Doxology Bible Church. This position will undergo periodic evaluation to celebrate success and identify growth opportunities within the individual s ministry.
