Meet Riverside Community Church:

Riverside was started in 2004 when its founding Senior Pastor and a small group of families moved out into the hill country with the vision of seeing lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. Before ever having a church gathering, Riverside opened up a non-profit coffee house called The Loft and our Hope Center, which serves the marginalized in our community, all with the vision of building a community before having church . Over the next several years, the community met in homes, schools, and rental spaces. 11 years ago, we moved into our current campus, set on 6 acres nestled just north of San Antonio in the beautiful hill country. Riverside is located in one of the fastest-growing counties in all of Texas (relocated, makes sense in this paragraph). Riverside has grown to 500-550 people who call it home and continues to grow. Our vision is to partner with God to see transformed lives transforming communities, and we do that by making disciples and living on mission. We are a board-governed, elder-led, and staff empowered community of believers. Worship Pastor:

Riverside is seeking a Worship Pastor to join our team. The Worship Pastor is responsible for leading an engaging and excellent Sunday morning experience, worship team recruitment, care and development, and cultivating a culture of worship throughout the church. The ideal candidate will have a clear calling to lead people in worship and discipleship, develop and pastor their teams. The individual must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and relational. Responsibilities Responsible for the vision, heart, and preparation of worship gatherings Responsible for the worship team and production team, as well as all other elements necessary for the production of corporate worship events Develop a culture of Spirit-led presence and excellence in worship Develop an annual ministry plan that aligns with the overall mission and vision of Riverside, which includes clear expectations and deliverables Recruit, train, and appreciate the volunteers serving in each ministry Partner with the Lead Pastor to plan corporate worship by selecting music, media, and other ministry time that will help facilitate spiritually engaging and God-exalting worship experiences, including a thematic programming calendar. Meet and collaborate with the Programming team for strategic planning and events Ensure quality, authentic worship throughout the various ministries of the church Develop and lead periodic special worship opportunities throughout the year in partnership with the Programming Team Assist in various pastoral responsibilities as needed under the direction of the Lead Pastor. Responsible for Livestream setup and Launch Prepare and maintain the annual Worship Budget and Production Budget Maintain technical aspects of worship - sound, lighting, media, etc Leadership Cultivate your relationship with Jesus, as well as your talents and gifts.
