About Us:
At Allheal Home Health & Hospice, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for our patients. Our mission is to provide holistic care that addresses not only physical needs but emotional and spiritual well-being as well. We are currently seeking a dedicated Chaplain to join our team and help us nurture the spirit and resilience of our community.
Position Overview:
The Chaplain will serve as a spiritual and emotional support resource for patients within our organization. This role involves providing guidance, comfort, and encouragement to those navigating their end of life journey, while also supporting the overall spiritual life of their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and families, including crisis intervention and end-of-life support. Develop and implement programs to meet the diverse spiritual needs of our community. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or team members to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and confidential records of pastoral care activities. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency spiritual support.
Qualifications:
Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological degree from an accredited institution. Certification or ordination by a recognized faith group or professional chaplaincy organization (e.g., Association of Professional Chaplains). Previous experience in a pastoral care or chaplaincy role, preferably in a healthcare, educational, or organizational setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic and non-judgmental support. Capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to varying needs and situations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay:
$80.00 per hour Application Question(s): How many years of hospice experience do you have? Are you able to provide service as a chaplain and as a bereavement coordinator?
