Job Description Core Expectations Adopt and implement curricula and ministries to engage families with children under eighteen. Collaborate with clergy and Youth and Children's Christian Formation Committee. Recruit, train, and support lay ministry teams to work with families. Be a person of prayer, committed to ongoing growth as a follower of Jesus. Establish and grow relationships at the Trinity School of Texas and other schools that Trinity families attend and promote ministries at these schools. Specific Responsibilities Plan, organize, and help teach Christian formation for youth and children. Beginning with a single youth group, work to establish, organize, lead, and grow youth groups for middle school and high school. Participate in weekly staff meetings and an annual planning retreat. Publicize programs within the parish, at the Trinity School of Texas, and to the wider community. Together with clergy and staff, help organize, plan, and lead annual Vacation Bible School. Incorporate outreach ministry as a dimension of programs for youth and children. Teach youth confirmation class with clergy. Be a bridge to Trinity School of Texas and other schools where Trinity families attend, building relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff. Eat lunch with students, faculty, and staff at Trinity School of Texas. Regularly attend games, performances, and other school events.
