We are prayerfully seeking a visionary and spiritually grounded Senior Pastor to lead us into our next chapter of thriving ministry. Overview We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Senior Pastor to lead and nurture our faith community. This vital role involves providing spiritual guidance, fostering community engagement, and delivering impactful sermons that resonate with diverse audiences. The Senior Pastor will serve as a spiritual leader, mentor, and counselor, ensuring the church's mission is actively lived out through worship, outreach, and compassionate support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to serving others with integrity and enthusiasm. Position Summary The Senior Pastor serves as the primary spiritual leader, visionary, and communicator of Fellowship Christian Center Church. This individual will faithfully preach and teach the Word of God, shepherd the congregation with wisdom and compassion, and cultivate a culture marked by discipleship, evangelism, and community transformation. Working collaboratively with church leadership—including Deacons and ministry leaders—the Senior Pastor will equip, empower, and develop leaders while fostering unity, spiritual growth, and organizational excellence across all areas of ministry. Essential Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by a life of faith and obedience. Ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Demonstrated spiritual maturity, integrity, and Christ like character. A deep love for Christ, His Church, and people from all walks of life. Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience. Proven effectiveness in preaching, discipleship, and leadership development. Bachelor's degree required; Master of Divinity or equivalent theological education. Ability to provide sound biblical counsel, discipleship, and conflict resolution. Full alignment with the doctrinal beliefs & values of Fellowship Christian Center Church. Key Responsibilities:
Preaching & Teaching Deliver biblically sound, Christ-centered, and engaging expository messages during Sunday and Wednesday services. Communicate Scripture with clarity, relevance and spiritual authority. Encourage and challenge the congregation toward spiritual growth and daily application of God's Word. Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship Provide visionary leadership that aligns with the mission and future direction of F3C. Cultivate a strong culture of discipleship through Bible studies, life groups and leadership development. Equip ministry leaders to effectively serve and lead within their respective areas. Organizational Leadership Partner with Deacons and leadership teams to ensure unity, accountability, and strategic alignment. Establish and strengthen organizational structures that support sustainable church growth. Lead with wisdom in conflict resolution, fostering a spirit of grace, truth, and reconciliation. Community Impact & Outreach Champion a missional focus that extends beyond the walls of the church. Lead initiatives that engage the local community and expand the church's reach. Embody and model the heart, values, and mission of Fellowship Christian Center Church. Duties Overview Deliver compelling sermons and presentations that inspire faith, hope, and community involvement. Provide Christian counseling and bereavement support to individuals and families facing life challenges or loss. Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and special events that foster spiritual growth and unity. Offer guidance on hospice care initiatives and support programs for those in need of compassionate end-of-life care. Mentor church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to develop their spiritual gifts and leadership abilities. Plan and coordinate community outreach events, seminars, and educational programs aligned with church values. Manage crisis intervention efforts and conflict resolution within the congregation with sensitivity and professionalism. Foster a welcoming environment through effective communication, public speaking engagements, and active listening. Proven experience in pastoral leadership or related ministry roles with a strong background in Christian teachings. Exceptional public speaking, presentation skills, and the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences. Skilled in crisis management, conflict management, and crisis intervention to support individuals during difficult times. Knowledge of bereavement support practices, hospice care principles, and Christian counseling techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for mentoring staff and congregation members alike. Excellent written communication skills for sermon preparation, newsletters, and educational materials. Experience in event planning for church activities such as retreats, seminars, or outreach programs is preferred.
