Job Description St. Thomas Episcopal Church and School is seeking a faithful, collaborative, and dynamic priest to serve as Assistant Rector. This role works closely with the Rector to support the overall leadership, vision, and vitality of the parish, sharing responsibility for staff oversight and the full scope of parish life. The Assistant Rector plays a primary leadership role in programming, formation, and liturgy for Youth, Children, and Family Ministries. This includes supervising staff, guiding strategic planning, managing budgets, and ensuring the effective and cohesive execution of these ministries. The Assistant Rector also participates fully in the sacramental and pastoral life of the church, including preaching, teaching, worship leadership, and pastoral care. In addition, the Assistant Rector collaborates with parish leadership, including the Vestry, and may assume responsibility for day-to-day operations in the Rector's absence. This position calls for a detail-oriented, pastorally sensitive leader with strong communication skills, emotional and spiritual maturity, and a commitment to team-based ministry. Candidates must be ordained priests in the Episcopal Church and hold a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from an accredited seminary.
