Senior Pastor:
Non-negotiable! The reasoning for this is to allow the Pastor to spend his time in studying and prayer, and to allow him to be more of a shepherd to the people without the weight of the daily Church function details. a) The Ministry Director is the Pastor's Assistant keeping tabs on the people and informing him of those in need, prayer requests, visitation and senior needs. She is also in charge of volunteer oversight, as well as discipleship, church ministries, new members and attendance information, missions oversight, children's dept oversight, etc. Her number one job is to help the Pastor carry out his vision for the church and people. b) The Church Administrator , who is also the Music Director , runs all the finances and keeps the Pastor and the Church Board apprised to how the church is doing financially. She is also in charge of the church maintenance by getting bids and getting the help needed when things need to be fixed.
Senior Pastor Roles:
a) Spends time in prayer, and study in order to feed the congregation weekly. b) As the Executive Pastor, all major decisions must pass by him for approval.
