​Trinity Baptist Church is earnestly seeking a Gospel-focused shepherd to faithfully lead our church family, located in Laramie, Wyoming. ​Trinity Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation focused on being Bible-based and Gospel-driven. Our mission is to lead people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to build up the body of Christ to a position of strength and maturity. We affirm the sovereign authority of God and that the Word of God is true, trustworthy, and as applicable today as it has ever been. Our blended congregation of various age groups is seeking Biblical leadership. We are prayerfully waiting for the pastor God has chosen to lead us. We cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention in support of ministry and missions and are looking to expand our personal footprint in the mission field. We are a growing church in a community seeking Jesus and truth. We are praying for a pastor who is equipped to further our reach in that community. Our church is in Laramie, Wyoming, (population 33,000) a family-friendly college town home to the only 4-year universityin our beautiful state. Laramie is an active outdoor community with parks, trails, and many other seasonal outdoor activities. We are also a short drive from other adventures, including hiking, fishing, camping, etc. The wind and weather may be a deterrent to some. However, we are praying God is already preparing the right man (family) for just such an adventure.

Pastor Responsibilities:

• Preach and teach the Word of God prayerfully and faithfully
• Clearly present and invite response to the Gospel
• Shepherd our church family, lead in prayer, disciple, and guideour ministry council
• Lead humbly by example and in unity with our associate pastor, deacons, and trustees
• Provide our congregation with pastoral care in prayer, counsel, and visitation

Qualifications:

• Meet the Biblical criteria of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
• Demonstrate a desire to minister to all generations
• Exhibit a strong prayer life
• Affirm inerrancy and sufficiency of the Bible
• Possess experience in ministry
• Have formal theological education

Preferences:

• Pastoral experience, missionary work, and/or ministry staff member
• Attended Bible college or seminary
• College Ministry
• Biblical counseling
• Outreach and Discipleship growth plans
• Leadership qualities in spiritual growth

Pastoral Package:

• Full time
• $55,000
• 70,000 in total compensation (to include housing allowance or parsonage), determined by experience and education
