Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a group home setting, ensuring their daily needs are met with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or direct support services, particularly with individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and memory care. This is a 10pm-6am position. Duties As a Resident Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Supporting residents in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall well-being. Engaging residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional health. Monitoring resident health and reporting any changes to the appropriate staff members. Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for all residents. Collaborating with team members to implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in home care, group home settings, or long-term care environments is preferred. Familiarity with direct support services and systems related to resident care. Knowledge of ADLs and the specific needs of individuals requiring memory care is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others thrive in their daily lives.
