$19.00 to $20.50 hourly,DOE What You Will Do:
The Impact You'll Make As a Resident Aide on the Grave Shift, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, stability and wellbeing of residents throughout the night. Your presence helps maintain a structured, supportive environment that promotes recovery, dignity and independence. Resident Support and Care Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs Support residents in maintaining independence through daily chores and personal care Assist with meal preparation, serving and light program activities when assigned Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate patience, compassion and professionalism Monitoring and Safety Conduct regular overnight rounds to monitor resident wellbeing and facility conditions Ensure rooms, hallways, laundry areas and restrooms remain clean, safe and hazard free Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents and unusual occurrences and complete all required documentation Promote a calm, structured and secure atmosphere for all residents Documentation and Reporting Complete daily logs, incident reports and end of shift documentation accurately Provide clear communication and updates to oncoming staff and the Program Manager Administrative and Facility Support Answer phones, take messages and greet visitors as needed Support staff with recreation, facility services and other activities when assigned Monitor and record client self administration of prescribed medications Perform additional duties as assigned by theProgram Manager What You'll Bring:
Your Qualifications Required High School diploma or GED At least one year of experience in mental health, substance use services or homeless services Candidates with lived experience are encouraged to apply If in recovery, at least one year of continuous sobriety Ability to remain calm and professional under stress or conflict Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook Valid California driver license, clean driving record and insurability under agency policy Live Scan background clearance Preferred Current CPR certification Patient and able to provide a calming presence Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to model appropriate behavior and support residents effectively Collaborative, adaptable and consistent team player Additional Requirements Must pass all required background checks If driving a company vehicle is required, employee must maintain eligibility throughout employment Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Alcott follows Fair Chance hiring practices Why Join Alcott?
