Job Description

Oro House Recovery Centers is one of the nation's premier drug and alcohol treatment centers. Oro House is a dual-diagnoses treatment center specializing in mental health and substance abuse problems. We take a holistic approach to treatment, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches and medication management. We are looking for a full-time experienced Resident Advisor to join our team in Malibu, California.
Job Duties:
Monitor clients on 20 minute and hourly rounds. Implement rules, policies, and guidelines consistently. Demonstrate the ability to establish rapport with clients. Always maintain professionalism in interactions with staff and clients, and exercise mature judgement. Maintain boundaries and proper ethical and professional relationships with clients impeccably. Report any crisis or serious concerns to supervisor immediately. Attend and participate in all staff meeting/in service trainings. Utilize incident reports to document any incidents when on duty. Document client's daily activity in shift reports. Escort and supervise clients off grounds. Cover your shift or find coverage and notify shift lead immediately of any change in schedule.

Full-Time, 8 hours shift 5 days a week
