Full Job Description Description:
Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) is a statewide not for profit provider agency that partners with individuals, their families, and the surrounding communities to create environments that support long-term health and wellness. MHC has a part-time opening Monday - Wednesday; 12:00 am - 8:00 am (Sunday overnight into Monday Morning, Monday overnight into Tuesday morning, and Tuesday overnight into Wednesday morning) for a Residential Specialist I within the Danbury area. This position will be responsible to document and deliver services to persons in recovery in the activities outlined in their Individual Recovery Plans.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour.
Requirements:
The Residential Specialist I responsibilities include: Document all activities, communications, and encounters with individuals in recovery according to service contract and MHC requirements. Implement the Individual Recovery Plan (IRP). Teach and assist Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Monitor and documents the self-administration of medications noting any refusal, resistance, reactions, errors, or special conditions. Monitor the safety of individuals in recovery in their residences through proper supervision of the sites ensuring the maintenance of safe and healthy facilities. Provide emergent program site coverage when necessary. May be mandated to remain on site or to report beyond scheduled hours to provide essential coverage. Education and/or
Experience:
