Overview A general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support a mixed-use residential project in Fort Lauderdale. The role will assist in managing project controls, coordination, and documentation on a fast-paced urban build including residential, retail, podium, and amenity spaces. Key Responsibilities Support PM and field team with RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and procurement tracking Maintain project logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, permits, inspections, and closeout items Assist with buyout, subcontract documentation, scope comparisons, and cost tracking Coordinate pay applications, commitments, and administrative follow-through with accounting and subs Support punch list, closeout, O&M manuals, warranty process, and turnover readiness Qualifications Experience as Project Engineer, APM, or Project Coordinator with a GC/CM Exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, condo, or commercial vertical projects Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and document control systems Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why This Role Matters This is a high-visibility role supporting a complex urban project where coordination, speed, and follow-through directly impact delivery success.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
