POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Residential Team Lead will act as a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) with support to the Residential Coordinator. The Team Lead will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Inspired Living residential program while providing direct support to residents. This role ensures a safe, supportive, and compliant living environment for adults with developmental disabilities by monitoring resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
KEY FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in coordinating daily residential operations to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Serve as a point of contact for staff, families/guardians, and agency partners regarding resident needs on coordinator off days (1-2 days a week)
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of residential direct support staff as directed by coordinator.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Communicate incidents, concerns, or changes in resident status to leadership promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to pass Level 2 background screening
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
PREFFERED
  • Experience in a residential or group home setting
  • Medication Administration Validation
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • Experience with APD regulations and documentation requirements
