Welcome Center Seasonal Assistant Iowa Western Community College - 3.8 Council Bluffs, IA Job Details Part-time $12 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Free parking Employee assistance program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Description The Welcome Center Assistant will provide support to the Welcome Center front desk by answering incoming calls and directing them from outside callers, greeting and assisting campus guests and providing campus tours. In addition, the Welcome Center Assistant will work to support the recruiting efforts and goals of the division. Job Duties Answer incoming calls and direct them to the right person Assist students and campus guests Assist with recruiting efforts Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of high school diploma Associates degree preferred Background in providing direct customer service to diverse populations Experience working on college campus Ability to pass a background check Physical Demands Ability to walk long distance Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to effectively communicate Ability to lift up to 10lbs
