Residential Monitor F&S Services - 4.3 Tinley Park, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $40,000 - $45,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Intake High school diploma or GED Conflict management Social Work Associate's degree Full Job Description The Residential Monitor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment for residents within the home. This position involves supervising residents, assisting them with daily routines, and ensuring compliance with house rules and safety protocols. The Residential Monitor is responsible for conducting regular safety checks, managing behavioral issues with empathy, and documenting daily activities and any incidents.

Clinical Supervisor Roles/Responsibilities:
Strong Observational Skills for monitoring resident behaviors, and routines, and ensuring safety. Possess interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to fostering a respectful and positive living environment. Develops positive relationships with the residents of the home. Assists in planning activities for the residents and works closely with project manager. Supervises and ensures that residents are following program rules, guidelines, and daily planned schedules. Attends staff meetings and participates in all required trainings to be informed on all up to date rules and regulations. Store and supervises residents as they take any medication that may be needed. De-escalation and Conflict Resolution Skills to handle conflicts, enforce rules, and foster a harmonious environment. Basic Computer Skills to document daily logs, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively with the team. Effective Communication to interact positively with residents, coworkers, and visitors. Patience and Empathy in dealing with individuals facing emotional or behavioral challenges. Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and report writing. Dependability and Time Management to manage routines and complete required paperwork on schedule. Calm and Composed Demeanor to manage challenging situations and provide a steady presence in the home. High Ethical Standards and Confidentiality to maintain the privacy and respect of residents. Have valid licenses and insurance as they may be requested to transport the residents of Trusting Hearts.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; some coursework in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field is preferred. 3-5 year experiences working with youth preferred. Strong communication skills and desire to promote young women in transition into a healthy lifestyle. Be in good physical and mental health per Section 403.22; See below Experience in a residential care setting, social services, or working with vulnerable populations (e.g., mental health, rehabilitation, youth services) preferred. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and best practices of youth development. Willing to participate in DCFS training.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
