Residential Designer

A Kight Home Center (a division of Carter Lumber) Residential Designer will work with our customers and sales team to create new and modify existing home plans. This fast-paced job will entail experience with drafting based software. Come be a vital piece of our growing company as we continue to make our customer's dream homes a reality.

Requirements :

Must be well versed in current construction methods and framing assemblies Thorough understanding of current residential building codes and residential energy codes Software-based drafting experience Ability to compile complete drawings for residential home permit submittal Well versed in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Outlook); Computer-savvy Exceptional customer service skills; Strong communication skills Well organized and enjoys multitasking Residential construction experience and/or sales experience is preferred Building experience a bonus - not a necessity

Responsibilities :
